Oh Happy Day!
This day has been a long time coming. Five years ago I decided to pursue my photography as more than just a hobby and established Amber DeJean Photography, LLC. The decision was not an easy one. I knew that by starting this business that I would have to make a lot of sacrifices, which I have and still do. In addition to my photography business I work full time so I have to try to balance both jobs and my family life which is sometimes a huge challenge. These last few years the business has really started to grow so I started thinking that I needed to re-brand. It was time to take that next step and ditch my homemade logo and branding and get a professional to help me out. I had been thinking about it for quite a while but wasn’t sure where to start and then along came Amanda. 🙂
Amanda Fontcuberta is one of the most sweetest and patient people I have ever met. She has to be to put up with my indecisiveness! 🙂 I met Amanda by chance through a colleague at work who she had designed a logo for. I gave her a call and then we had a little meeting to discuss what I wanted and hit it off immediately. We got along so well that our conversation drifted off and we ended up talking about her upcoming wedding. Being a photographer I was curious so I asked her who her photographer was. She told me she didn’t have one yet. Whoa! Hello, Fate, nice to meet ya! haha. So guess who is photographing Amanda’s wedding in a few weeks?! I am super excited! 🙂
Between my busy schedule and Amanda’s it took a little while for us to finalize the new brand but we finally did and I LOVE IT! I am so happy to finally be able to share it with you all and hope that you like the new look of Amber DeJean Photography!
Here is my new primary logo:

And here is my secondary logo which I will use for watermarking images and various other things. Amanda created a few different versions for me with my color pallet so I can brand those individual types of photography. Love it!

I am so pleased with the new logo(s) and the new blog. It is a huge weight lifted to finally have it all finished!
The blog itself is also new and I couldn’t have gotten it up and running without my super smart hubby, Ray. He has helped me so much this last year with making sure I have everything I need to process and back up my images and post them for you all to see. If it’s been a while since you have had a session you will be in for a treat the next time we work together. My new online gallery and ordering system is AWESOME. All thanks to the husband! 🙂
So thank you Amanda and Ray! You guys have been so awesome and I am extremely grateful for everything you have and continue to do for me. 🙂
Take a look around and leave a comment and let me know what you think. 🙂
