How did it all begin?

Lauren and Casey first met back in 2007.  Neither of them knew at the time what the future would hold but over the next several years their paths continued to cross.  In 2010 they randomly sat next to each other at a wedding.  Lauren was seeing someone at the time but that didn’t really deter Casey because every month or so he would send her a text to see how her boyfriend was doing. 😉  About a year later Lauren was hanging out with some friends and saw Casey drive by.  Single now, she decided to send him a text to see how he was doing.  A couple of months later they met up again while out with friends.  They started dating that night and for the next few weeks he would pick her up from work and take her to lunch.  The rest as they say, is history. 🙂

When did you know he was the one?

Casey said “I love you” first while dancing to “Crazy Girl” at a the Gar Rodeo.  That was July 29, 2011 to be exact.  Lauren thought he was a little crazy and laughed however that night she knew he was the one.  About a week later she told him she felt the same.

When and how did he propose?

After about 2 years of dating Casey asked Lauren’s dad for her hand in marriage.  He must have been pretty nervous because he and her dad went to a bar and got pretty tanked, haha.  When they got back he let the cat out of the bag in his drunken state so Lauren took that as permission to start wedding planning. 🙂  She had the wedding venue and photographer booked before he actually proposed.  The big day was December 7, 2013.  Casey tied the ring to their dog Turbo’s collar.  When they sat down on the couch together and Lauren pet Turbo, she could feel the ring.  There on their couch, just them and their puppy, he asked her to be his forever.  No mushy paragraphs on love, just a simple question and a yes!  Followed by kisses and tears of joy, of course! 🙂

What do you like to do together?

Lauren and Casey like to go horseback riding and mud riding together. 🙂

What do you love most about each other?

Quoted from Lauren:   What I love most about Casey is that he is strong but always tells me how much he loves me. I also love that he can do basically anything that he sets his mind to. Casey said that he loves everything about me. I also love that he’s a man of few words 🙂
