Haley & George | Married | Hammond, Louisiana Wedding Photographer
Haley and George were married this fall at a precious little church in their hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana. Everything was perfect from the gorgeous bouquets to the Holy Moly Matrimony signature drink at the reception. Steering a little from tradition, they decided to do a “first look” where they took a few moments to visit with each other before the ceremony. Not everyone goes this route, but those that do are always so glad. The most wonderful moments happen during a first look and I always tear up a little capturing them. That first moment took place at a beautiful home right down the street from the church. It was picture perfect. 🙂
I ask all of my brides to tell me a little about themselves and their groom, how they met, what they love most about each other, etc. Here are a few words from Haley. ♥
How did it all begin?
We met on New Years Eve night, 2008. We had mutual friends and were just friends until 2012 when we started dating. Our first date was to my cousins wedding. He met my family and everything! Ha!
When did you know that he was the one?
I moved to Baton Rouge for school and I realized he was the one then because we didn’t see each other every day anymore and it made our relationship grow stronger and really appreciate each other! Nothing was better then him coming to surprise me during the week!
What are your favorite things to do together? hobbies?
Our absolute favorite thing to do together is go boating! We literally try to go every weekend during the Summer!
What kind of job do you both have?
George is a commercial truck driver for Singleton Trucking in Amite, Louisiana. I am a cardiovascular ultrasound technician for Southern Medical in Baton Rouge.
What things do you love most about him/her?
George loves my personality most. I love how George always knows how to make me smile.
