A couple of months ago I had the honor of photographing four generations of Herbert men.  Sr., Jr., III & IV.  On my way there, it was just like going to photograph any other session.  I hadn’t yet realized what that beautiful morning was going to be like.  What it was, was magical.  One by one, these men…these really TALL men, started to show up at our meeting location.  Mr. Herbert, Sr. was there first so I got to spend a little time chatting with him and it was in those minutes that I realized just exactly how special this session was going to be.  These men WANTED to be there (not necessarily in suits though haha).  They wanted to take these portraits to have and pass down for generations to come.  The love and bond that you could see between them all was so heart warming.  I left there that morning with tears of joy.  Thankful that they let me peek into their lives just a little and share those sweet moments with them.  I know that I gave them a gift but what they didn’t realize was that they gave me one too.  Thank you, Herbert family. ♥  Here are a few of my favorites from their session.  Enjoy!
