The Guerrero’s | Married | A Baton Rouge, LA. Wedding

Brittany and Gabe were married at the beautiful Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and their amazing reception was at De La Ronde Hall, both in their beloved Baton Rouge, La.  Brittany is absolutely one of the sweetest people you will ever meet.  Her laid back attitude and friendly spirit is infectious.  When I am around her, I can’t help but smile and feel like I am hanging out with an old friend.  We got to hang out during her bridal session prior to the wedding day, but we were meeting Gabe for the first time that day.  The groom is usually nervous but trying not to act that way, and really isn’t all that into taking pictures.  Gabe was an exception.  Although I am sure he was nervous, he was completely chill and happy to go along with all of my crazy picture ideas.  As we normally do, I went with Brittany to do bridal prep at her and Gabe’s new home and Ray went to photograph the Gabe and the rest of the groomsmen at another location.  After getting ready we all headed to the church to do the first look.  A first look wasn’t originally part of the plan but as with winter weddings, it is very helpful to allow us to take daylight portraits so Brittany and Gabe decided to do it.  Afterwards they told me they were both so glad they did the first look!  We took some amazing portraits at sunset before the ceremony and then it was off to say I Do!

The ceremony was a full mass and was absolutely beautiful.  After the ceremony everyone piled into the limo bus to head to the party!  Little did I know, the party was starting in that limo bus! 🙂 I rode along with them and laughed until I had tears at the guys and how much fun they were having singing their LSU themed songs trying to dance on a moving bus.

The reception was perfect from the beautiful Christmas tree, to the amazing food and the super fun glow sticks and party music!  Everyone seemed to have an amazing time as they danced the night away ( and sang more LSU songs! ).  These people LOVE THEIR TIGERS and we do too!  After a glowing sparkler exit, they were whisked away in a beautiful Rolls Royce.  The perfect ending to a perfect day!

Ray and I were honored to capture these beautiful memories for Brittany and Gabe and we wish them a lifetime of love and happiness!  We hope you enjoy these images from their wedding day!

Here are some fun facts about Brittany & Gabe:

haha! We actually met on Tinder!

Our first date was at la Carretta is Baton Rouge!

We got engaged on my families beach vacation to Gulf Shores. My sister wanted to take group family pictures & Gabe surprised me with a proposal. His parents & my grandmother drove up the day of the proposal & popped out from behind us after he proposed! it was perfect!

Play/cuddle with our puppies, watch movies, watch LSU sports, hang out with friends.

2 dogs! Luna & Bailey! Our heart and Souls!

Gabe is a Physician Assistant & Brittany is a Registered Dietitian.

I love Gabe’s kind heart and boyish charm! He always keeps me laughing. He works hard at his job & around the house. He does whatever he can to provide the best possible life for us.  (Gabe) What I like most about Brittany is how she always puts others before herself. She’s very considerate & loving. Very low maintenance! She is always down to tag along even if deep down she really doesn’t want to.
